Our Aims

The aims of Livery Companies generally are supporting the individual Company's trade or profession; working in the best interests of the communities in which they operate; education; welfare; fellowship; and supporting the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council i.e. the City of London Corporation. The Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators subscribes fully to this concept.

The Company's objectives are to:

• accumulate funds to further the support of professional education in the field of Chartered Secretaryship and Administration, by way of charitable funding for aspiring members of the profession, and in providing prizes and bursaries for the support of the profession;
• provide for professional and social exchange between Liverymen, and between Liverymen and others with a concern for good administration;
• to enhance the standing of the profession, with particular reference to the City of London; and,
• generally, to support the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Common Councilmen, i.e. The City of London Corporation, and all worthy objects of Livery within the City of London. The picture shows the Company's participation in a Lord Mayor's Show, walking some two miles through the City of London.

The Company's motto is, "Service with Integrity".
